A strong odor has been wafting out of the Pinedale Anticline gas field into the New Fork River Valley and beyond the past couple weeks. The Sublette Examiner isolated the smell’s source – more than 11 miles from where it was reported to the sheriff’s office. The odor traced back to a facility run by 212 Resources – a flowback and produced water treatment company headquartered in Salt Lake City.
